H is for (Ronni Ann) Hall

I know the Encyclopedia of Me is supposed to be all about, um, me, but I really wanted to introduce you to another artist. Ronni Ann also goes by the name of Designing Fairy, and keeps a blog of her illustrations and inspirations, but that's not the half of it.

She's also an author who has published books and essays for people, she says, who "...love animals, nature, and the discovery of and learning from the spiritual world." She's an animal intuitive and healer; she runs an online shop where you can purchase her flower essences, and offers an online "fairy school" where you can learn, among many other things, tools for working with the healing energies of plants and essences. A few minutes on her web site (completely separate from her blog) will have you amazed at all the creative projects Ronni has her hands in.

Ronni's animal and nature illustrations range from the whimsical and simple to the obsessively detailed and surreal. Go here to see more; I've linked you to her animal illustrations, but make sure you also check out her series of Little Goddesses Ceremonial Gowns.

And you can purchase her work, too, either through her etsy shop, or even by commissioning a portrait of your best friend.

Which brings me, finally, to the portrait I commissioned from Ronni Ann...

Thor & his socks.
